    Minister Rana Meets Prakriti’s Family

    Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak traveled to Bhairahawa to meet with Prakriti’s grieving family.     “We will fight for the truth behind Prakriti’s death,” she said. “Our efforts will not stop until justice is served.”

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) confirmed that Minister Rana has been actively engaged in diplomatic efforts since the incident. She has already reached out to key Indian officials, including Odisha’s Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi. They discussed the tragic event and how best to follow up on the investigation.

    In addition, Minister Rana immediately contacted Odisha’s Education Minister, urging them to initiate a comprehensive investigation. She emphasized the need to enhance safety measures for Nepali students studying in India.     “I’ve asked the Indian government to hold the perpetrators accountable,” she explained. “I will continue to follow this case closely to ensure justice for Prakriti.”

    Odisha Government Responds with Investigation

    In response to the tragedy, Odisha’s Chief Minister has taken swift action. He has formed a high-level investigative committee to ensure a thorough examination of the case. Minister Rana has welcomed this initiative and expressed confidence in the state’s commitment to bringing those responsible to justice.
