Consero Global, a leading provider of Finance as a Service (FaaS) solutions, has announced two senior executive appointments aimed at accelerating its digital transformation strategy and reinforcing its position as a trusted partner to growth-oriented companies. The move reflects the firm’s commitment to integrating advanced technology, cybersecurity, and strategic partnerships into its service model.

The company confirmed that Brock Kahanyshyn has joined as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Executive Vice President of Information Technology. Concurrently, Tyler Nelson, a long-serving executive at Consero, has been promoted to Chief Corporate Development & Information Systems Officer. Both appointments are effective immediately.

These leadership changes come as Consero seeks to expand its capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and digital resilience—key areas of focus amid rising cybersecurity threats and evolving regulatory demands in the finance sector.

    Strengthening Security and Innovation

Kahanyshyn brings over 25 years of experience across government, telecommunications, energy, and public safety. His career includes oversight of $1.7 billion in strategic planning initiatives and leadership of national projects in high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. His expertise in cybersecurity and data governance is expected to play a central role in enhancing Consero’s IT operations and building a forward-looking security framework.

Reporting to Nelson, Kahanyshyn will lead efforts to ensure Consero’s IT and security functions meet the needs of its expanding client base, which includes venture capital- and private equity-backed firms, as well as large-scale nonprofit organizations.

“Brock’s leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that clients not only feel secure but also benefit from technology investments that drive measurable business value,” the company stated.

    Expanded Role for Tyler Nelson

Nelson, who previously served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, will now oversee corporate development, global business applications, and IT systems under a unified strategic portfolio. His responsibilities include leading Consero’s security strategy, managing technology partnerships, and driving mergers and acquisitions aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

His promotion reflects Consero’s emphasis on combining operational resilience with commercial innovation.

“Leadership is not only about filling roles—it’s about aligning the right vision with the right talent,” said David Sawatzky, CEO of Consero Global. “These appointments reflect our belief that the finance function of the future must be driven by the seamless integration of people, process, and technology. Brock and Tyler bring both the expertise and the foresight needed to help us execute this vision.”

    Industry Context and Strategic Outlook

Consero’s focus on cybersecurity and AI aligns with broader trends in financial services, where firms are under increasing pressure to innovate while safeguarding against complex cyber threats. The company’s proactive restructuring signals its intent to shape industry standards within the FaaS category.

The appointments are part of a wider strategic agenda to strengthen Consero’s leadership in finance transformation. The firm continues to differentiate itself by offering scalable operations, faster time to value, and actionable insights for clients seeking efficiency and growth.

By reinforcing its executive team with seasoned professionals, Consero aims to deliver enhanced client experiences and maintain its reputation for reliability and innovation.
