Gold has reached its highest-ever level in the domestic market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious metal is trading at Rs 221,700 per tola (11.66 grams).
On Monday, the price of gold stood at Rs 217,800 per tola. This means the rate has risen by Rs 3,900 per tola compared with the start of the week.
Silver prices have also been set at Rs 2,680 per tola. Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently trading at around 3,748 USD per ounce, the Federation reported.
