Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the latest foreign exchange rates for Sunday. These rates set the buying and selling values for many major global currencies against the Nepalese rupee. The central bank updates these rates daily to reflect changes in global markets and local demand.

For Sunday, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.47, while the selling rate is NPR 137.07. This means banks will purchase dollars from customers at NPR 136.47 and sell them at NPR 137.07.

The euro is priced at NPR 159.90 for buying and NPR 160.60 for selling. This shows a slight change compared to the previous rates, reflecting shifts in the international currency market.

The British pound sterling is being bought at NPR 187.39 and sold at NPR 188.22. The Swiss franc stands at NPR 170.90 for buying and NPR 171.65 for selling.

Among other popular currencies, the Australian dollar is being exchanged at NPR 89.20 for buying and NPR 89.60 for selling. Meanwhile, the Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 99.97 for buying and NPR 100.41 for selling.

The Singapore dollar is listed at NPR 106.99 for buying and NPR 107.46 for selling. These values can help travelers and businesses plan their currency exchanges accordingly.

For every 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.44, and the selling rate is NPR 9.48. The Chinese yuan stands at NPR 19.03 for buying and NPR 19.11 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is being traded at NPR 36.39 for buying and NPR 36.55 for selling. The Qatari riyal is listed at NPR 37.34 and NPR 37.50 for buying and selling, respectively.

NRB also updated the rates for several Asian currencies. The Thai baht is valued at NPR 4.18 for buying and NPR 4.20 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 37.16 for buying and NPR 37.32 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 32.27 for buying and NPR 32.41 for selling.

For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 10.03 and the selling rate is NPR 10.08. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of NPR 14.40 and a selling rate of NPR 14.46, while the Danish krone is exchanged at NPR 21.43 for buying and NPR 21.53 for selling.

In addition, the Hong Kong dollar is fixed at NPR 17.38 for buying and NPR 17.46 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies, is being traded at NPR 446.22 for buying and NPR 448.18 for selling.

The Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 361.75 for buying and NPR 363.34 for selling. Meanwhile, the Omani rial is listed at NPR 354.45 for buying and NPR 356.01 for selling.

For Indian currency, which plays an important role in Nepal’s economy, the rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has reminded the public that these rates can change depending on the market. Commercial banks may use slightly different rates based on supply and demand. People can check the official NRB website for the latest updates.

The central bank’s regular updates help travelers, importers, exporters, and the general public make informed decisions. Currency values affect everything from the cost of imported goods to the price of international travel and foreign education.

With the increase in global economic activity and online financial exchanges, up-to-date foreign exchange information has become more important than ever. The Nepal Rastra Bank plays a key role in keeping this process transparent and reliable.
