    Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Set To Open New Ramada In Itahari

    The hospitality industry of both Nepal and Itahari is especially looking to receive a major upliftment with the upcoming Ramada by Wyndham Hotel, which is scheduled to be operational by 2024. The franchise agreement between the Indian hospitality company Grand Central Hotel Private Limited and the global hospitality company Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is a major step forward in the city’s developing tourism and business environments. New venture: A new Ramada by Wyndham Itahari Pashupati Marg hotel will be built in the heart of one of the most vibrant commercial centers of eastern Nepal and will introduce a new range of international standard accommodation and services.

    It is planned to be surrounded by areas that are crucial for trade and commerce, to target corporate visitors and tourists, respectively. The hotel will consist of modern designed guest rooms, a special all day dining restaurant, a bar and lounge and recreational facilities to mention a few such as health club, spa and swimming pool. For business guests, the hotel is prepared to provide luxurious banquet facilities and business conference rooms, making the hotel suitable for conference and business activities.

    Emphasizing the opportunities in the Nepalese hospitality industry, Desh Bandhu Basnet, Chairman of the Grand Central Hotel Private Limited, also voiced optimism about this agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. It is believed that a partnership with the biggest hotel franchising company will put Itahari on the map for both national and international travelers.

    Nikhil Sharma, Market Managing Director Eurasia for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts pointed out that Itahari is an important trading point near the Indian border. With close proximity to Bihar and West Bengal the hotel is expected to attract business through wedding parties other group events and travelers visiting important places in the region.

    Employment opportunities have been estimated to go beyond eighty in the new Ramada with requirement in the Itahari area. This development meets the plans of the city to lure investors and offer employments to the growing population of employees. The local government has endorsed the project given its potentiality to fuel more improvement in the regions economy.

    Itahari is the largest municipality in Sunsari district of Nepal and has Grown rapidly in the past few years and known as the business capital of eastern Nepal. being well connected to the provincial capital of Biratnagar, border of India and to other part of the country has positioned it as an ideal investment hub to many investors across the globe.

    The planned construction for a new Ramada hotel has received proper support from local entrepreneurs and is perceived as the confirmation of the city’s economic prospects. More rooms will be available to other industries such as food and beverages, purchase of other products and services which will be occasioned by increased visitors to the city.

    Foreseen environmental impacts have also been considered while exercising the planning of this hotel with accreditation to sustainable practices within the construction and working of the hotel. This is in line with the increasing consciousness regarding sustainable development in counterpart Nepalese cities.

    With Itahari gradually establishing itself as one of the premier industrial hubs in eastern Nepal there could hardly be a better testimony to the city’s growth than the construction of such a facility as Ramada by Wyndham Hotel. The project also has the potential of became a benchmark to real estate developers and business in the overall region alongside boosting investment in the hospitality division.

    The opening is planned for 2024, and people are already getting excited about it, both residents and businesses. It is for this reason that the hotel is ready and willing to assume the mantle of a status symbol for Itahari’s growth and possibly the future growth of the city as well. As soon as the construction starts, everyone will watch this prospective structure, which will mark a new era of skyline in Itahari and catapult it to the higher places of the newly emerging cities in Nepal.
