    Nepal Central Bank Sets Daily Exchange Rates

    Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s official foreign exchange rates. The US dollar remains stable, with a buying rate of NPR 143.47 and a selling rate of NPR 144.07.

    The euro is set at NPR 168.90 for buying and NPR 169.61 for selling. The British pound stands at NPR 193.68 for buying and NPR 194.49 for selling. The Swiss franc is listed at NPR 181.73 for buying and NPR 182.49 for selling.

    Rates for other major currencies include:

    • Australian dollar: NPR 96.35 (buying), NPR 96.75 (selling)
    • Canadian dollar: NPR 104.94 (buying), NPR 105.38 (selling)
    • Singapore dollar: NPR 111.69 (buying), NPR 112.16 (selling)
    • Japanese yen (per 10 units): NPR 9.16 (buying), NPR 9.20 (selling)
    • Chinese yuan: NPR 20.48 (buying), NPR 20.56 (selling)
    • Saudi riyal: NPR 38.25 (buying), NPR 38.41 (selling)
    • Qatari riyal: NPR 39.25 (buying), NPR 39.42 (selling)

    Additional regional rates include:

    • Thai baht: NPR 4.62 (buying), NPR 4.64 (selling)
    • UAE dirham: NPR 39.06 (buying), NPR 39.22 (selling)
    • Malaysian ringgit: NPR 35.44 (buying), NPR 35.59 (selling)
    • South Korean won (per 100 units): NPR 9.95 (buying), NPR 9.99 (selling)
    • Swedish krona: NPR 15.66 (buying), NPR 15.73 (selling)
    • Danish krone: NPR 22.61 (buying), NPR 22.70 (selling)

    Rates for select Gulf and South Asian currencies:

    • Hong Kong dollar: NPR 18.46 (buying), NPR 18.54 (selling)
    • Kuwaiti dinar: NPR 467.34 (buying), NPR 469.30 (selling)
    • Bahraini dinar: NPR 380.46 (buying), NPR 382.05 (selling)
    • Omani rial: NPR 372.65 (buying), NPR 374.21 (selling)
    • Indian rupee (per 100 units): NPR 160.00 (buying), NPR 160.15 (selling)

    The central bank noted that these rates may change at any time based on market needs. Commercial banks may offer different rates, and updated figures are available on the central bank’s website.
