Rather than presenting abstract concepts, Meta Earth offered attendees a tangible experience of its ME Network 2.0. The live demonstration featured three core components: ME Hub, the settlement and $MEC issuance layer; RollApp chains, which enable customizable execution environments with interoperability across IBC and EVM; and ME-DA, a data availability layer using sampling and 2D erasure coding to enhance cost efficiency and performance.

Attendees could register their ME ID, link it to their on-chain profile, and receive a physical card—bridging the gap between digital and physical identity.
The initiative reflects Meta Earth’s “One ID, One Vote” philosophy, which promotes equitable governance and verifiable participation. The ME ID Protocol integrates identity, compliance, and utility into a unified framework. According to company data, the network now supports over 2 million verified users, has processed more than 29 million transactions, and operates nodes in over 40 countries.
To further engage attendees, Meta Earth launched a Lucky Draw Program requiring participants to verify their ME ID and share a social post. This simple yet verifiable process reinforced the company’s commitment to transparency and accountability in community engagement.
Token2049 also marked the debut of Meta Earth’s “Show the E” airdrop campaign, a year-long initiative running from September 2025 to September 2026. Centered on the values of Equality, Ecology, and Earth, the campaign invites users to share photos and videos making the “E” gesture. Hundreds of attendees participated on-site, contributing to a live digital map that visualized the campaign’s global reach.
Unlike traditional airdrops driven by speculation, “Show the E” rewards consistent, value-based engagement. The campaign aims to build a community rooted in shared principles rather than financial incentives alone.
