Air India is adding more flights to Asia’s top cities, starting July 7, 2025. The airline will launch daily flights to Bangkok, Colombo, and Kathmandu. This step aims to meet rising travel demand and improve international connectivity.

The move will give passengers easier access to these popular destinations. More than 7,000 seats per week will now be available. The airline has opened bookings for all new services.

Flights will run on narrowbody aircraft. These planes feature a three-class layout, including the Premium Economy option.

Here’s how flight frequencies are growing:

    • Delhi to Kathmandu: Grows from 35 to 45 flights weekly. A sixth daily flight will run on this busy route.

    • Delhi to Colombo: Doubles from 7 to 14 flights per week, with two flights daily.

    • Mumbai to Bangkok: Goes from 13 to 18 flights each week. A third daily flight will now serve this route.

    New Flight Schedule:

    Flight Number Route Departure Arrival
    AI2231 Delhi-Kathmandu 21:00 23:00
    AI2232 Kathmandu-Delhi 06:30 (Jul 8) 08:15 (Jul 8)
    AI277 Delhi-Colombo 03:25 07:15
    AI278 Colombo-Delhi 08:20 11:55
    AI2340 Mumbai-Bangkok 04:00 10:10
    AI2339 Bangkok-Mumbai 11:15 14:25

This expansion highlights Air India’s push to improve global access. With more flights, flexible timing, and added comfort, travelers can now explore Nepal, Thailand, and Sri Lanka with ease.
