Nepal Rastra Bank has released the latest foreign exchange rates for Thursday, adjusting the buying and selling prices of multiple foreign currencies. These rates guide daily currency transactions in Nepal, especially for imports, travel, and remittances.
According to the bank, the buying rate for the US Dollar is NPR 136.47, slightly down from the previous rate. The selling rate stands at NPR 137.07.
For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 159.94 and the selling rate is NPR 160.65. The UK Pound Sterling is being bought at NPR 187.18 and sold at NPR 188.00.
The Swiss Franc shows a buying rate of NPR 170.79 and a selling rate of NPR 171.54.
The Australian Dollar is priced at NPR 89.12 for buying and NPR 89.51 for selling. The Canadian Dollar is listed at NPR 99.74 for buying and NPR 100.18 for selling.
In the case of the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 106.96 and the selling rate is NPR 107.43.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying price is NPR 9.43, with a selling price of NPR 9.47. The Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.03 for buying and NPR 19.11 for selling.
The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.39 and a selling rate of NPR 36.55. The Qatari Riyal follows closely at NPR 37.34 for buying and NPR 37.50 for selling.
As for the Thai Baht, it is set at NPR 4.19 for buying and NPR 4.21 for selling. The UAE Dirham is available at NPR 37.16 for buying and NPR 37.32 for selling.
The Malaysian Ringgit is being traded at NPR 32.27 for buying and NPR 32.41 for selling. The South Korean Won, measured per 100 units, is priced at NPR 10.00 for buying and NPR 10.04 for selling.
Other currencies include the Swedish Krona, bought at NPR 14.38 and sold at NPR 14.44, and the Danish Krone, listed at NPR 21.44 for buying and NPR 21.53 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.38 for buying and NPR 17.46 for selling.
Among the higher-value currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 447.00 for buying and NPR 448.97 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar comes next at NPR 361.85 for buying and NPR 363.44 for selling.
The Omani Riyal is listed with a buying rate of NPR 354.45 and a selling rate of NPR 356.01.
Regarding regional exchange, 100 Indian Rupees are now exchanged at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that these exchange rates are subject to change based on market conditions. The central bank updates rates regularly to reflect shifts in global currency trends and ensure smooth financial transactions for individuals and businesses across the country.
