Royal Enfield, the global leader in mid-size motorcycles (250cc to 750cc), has officially launched the all-new Classic 350 in Nepal. The bike is now available across the country with several upgrades, including dual-channel ABS as a standard feature.

The new model will be assembled at Royal Enfield’s exclusive CKD (Completely Knocked Down) facility in Birgunj. This move not only supports local production but also brings better service and delivery speed for Nepali customers.

A New Chapter for Royal Enfield in Nepal

In June 2023, Royal Enfield partnered with the Triveni Group to open its CKD assembly plant in Birgunj. This was a major step forward in strengthening its presence in Nepal. The Birgunj plant is one of six such global facilities, with others in Brazil, Thailand, and Bangladesh.

The plant has a capacity to assemble 20,000 units every year. This local assembly helps Royal Enfield offer competitive pricing while ensuring better availability of spare parts and customer support.

Modern Upgrades on a Timeless Design

The Classic 350 has always stood out for its retro look and solid build. With this launch, Royal Enfield adds modern features while keeping its iconic design intact.

All new models come with dual-channel ABS as standard. This improves braking safety and performance, especially on Nepal’s hilly and curvy roads.

Some of the major new features include:

    • LED headlamp with pilot lamps for better night visibility
    • Type-C USB charging port for on-the-go convenience
    • Gear position indicator on the digital-analog display

These small but useful additions aim to enhance the overall riding experience.

Wide Range of Variants and Colors

The new Classic 350 is offered in five different variants, with seven eye-catching color options. Here is a breakdown:

    1. Heritage (NPR 555,000)

    • Colors: Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue
    • Features: Gold pinstripes, classic metal finish inspired by vintage RE bikes

    2. Heritage Premium (NPR 566,000)

    • Color: Medallion Bronze
    • Features: Elegant dual-tone design with premium styling

    3. Signals Edition (NPR 566,000)

    • Color: Commando Sand
    • Features: Military-style design, inspired by Royal Enfield’s long history with armed forces

    4. Dark Series (NPR 573,000)

    • Colors: Gun Grey, Stealth Black
    • Features: Equipped with Tripper Navigation, LED indicators, adjustable clutch and brake levers

    5. Chrome (NPR 579,900)

    • Color: Emerald
    • Features: Shiny chrome details with rich green paint for a premium look

These options give riders plenty of choices to match their style and budget.

A Message from Royal Enfield’s Leadership

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, expressed his excitement during the launch.

He said, “We are proud to forge a deep connection with our customers in Nepal. Eight out of ten middleweight motorcycle buyers are choosing Royal Enfield here. The new Classic 350 will only deepen that bond.”

His statement highlights the brand’s growing popularity and the trust it has built in Nepal over the years.

    Local Presence Means Faster Service

One of the biggest benefits of having a local CKD plant is faster delivery and easier access to parts. Riders in Nepal can expect quicker service times and more availability of the bikes at local dealers.

This makes owning a Royal Enfield not just about style but also about long-term ease and reliability.

    Popular Among Young Riders

Royal Enfield has long been a favorite among experienced riders. Now, with new technology and features, it is also becoming popular among younger riders. The bike’s strong engine, stylish design, and modern tools make it a great choice for both city rides and mountain adventures.

Motorcycling groups and Royal Enfield clubs in Nepal often organize rides through scenic routes like Kathmandu to Pokhara or Mustang. The Classic 350 is often the bike of choice for such journeys due to its comfort and control.

    What This Means for Nepal

The launch of the upgraded Classic 350 and the new CKD facility shows Royal Enfield’s strong commitment to Nepal. This also creates jobs, boosts local industry, and strengthens Nepal’s connection to the global motorcycle market.

For Nepali riders, this means more options, better support, and a strong global brand that values local customers.

As the motorcycle market continues to grow in Nepal, Royal Enfield’s bold steps may push other brands to raise their game too.
