The three-day Nepal Festival Delhi 2025 wrapped up on Sunday, bringing together crowds of visitors at the Nepal Embassy Grounds. From April 11 to 13, the event showcased the vibrant traditions, flavors, and business opportunities of Nepal. Organized by the Everest Chamber of Commerce and Industries in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal, the festival aimed to deepen cultural ties and boost economic cooperation between Nepal and India.
A Colorful Display of Nepalese Culture
The event took place at the Embassy of Nepal on Barakhamba Road and was open to the public daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. Themed “Bridging Trade, Industry & Culture,” the festival attracted hundreds of visitors over its three days.
It began on Friday with an opening ceremony that featured speeches from dignitaries and captivating cultural performances, setting a festive tone for the weekend. Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed folk dances, live music, fashion shows, and storytelling sessions that celebrated Nepal’s rich heritage.“Members of the Nepalese diaspora always look forward to this event. The traditional music and dances bring us closer to home,” said Srishti Limbu, a Nepalese student in Delhi.
Showcasing Handicrafts and Heritage
The festival also served as a platform for Nepalese artisans, who displayed hand-carved woodworks, handwoven textiles, and cultural artifacts. These exhibits reflected Nepal’s long-standing traditions of craftsmanship and the country’s growing entrepreneurial spirit.
Visitors had the chance to meet artists and learn about the stories behind their creations, making the festival both an educational and immersive cultural experience.
A Platform for Trade and Industry
A major feature of the festival was the Business-to-Business (B2B) Trade and Industry Expo, designed to strengthen commercial ties between Nepal and India. The expo hosted:
