It was rather a dramatic experience when a 50-year-old man from Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, was released by police after being kidnapped through a honey trap project. According to the police records, the victim, identified as Lallu Chaubey, set a meeting under the pretext of meeting a woman of his choice but was gang raped by three people in Jhansi. The abductors sent an ultimatum to Chaubey’s family to pay Rs 3 lakh for his safe release, and this eventually led to releasing of an operation to rescue him.
Chaubey got a call from a woman who set up a meeting with him under what can be described as a ruse. Despite the fact that the purpose of such an appointment is romantic, something terrible happens to Chaubey, and she is kidnapped.
